Integrative & Innovative Research (i3R)
Exciting transformations unfold at the corner of Duncan and Dickson Street in Fayetteville, AR as The Institute for Integrative & Innovative Research (i3R) takes shape! This visionary 137,500-square-foot marvel, designed by the talented team at HGA, is on its way to becoming a beacon of cutting-edge research and innovation at the University.
Within its walls, 30 faculty members and their teams will spearhead breakthroughs across five pivotal research domains: Data Science, Food and Technology, Materials Science and Engineering, Bioscience and Bioengineering, and Integrative Systems Neuroscience. The I3R isn’t just a building; it’s a hub of collaboration! With a focus on forging partnerships with the private sector, this institute will ignite innovation in our local business and start-up community, driving us all toward a brighter future.
The innovative nature of the building itself makes TCM a great fit to work on the project. We’re taking the construction game to the next level by meticulously panelizing the exterior with locally-made, high-performance Denselement sheathing, and Densdefy waterproofing, all crafted in our very own Lincoln shop. In just 23 days, we’ve already installed 250 exterior panels. We’re also contributing to the interior with framing, drywall, and insulation that redefine excellence.
