The Siloam Springs Administration Building provided an excellent opportunity to showcase the comprehensive array of construction products we can offer to our clients and projects. Beyond our expertise in metal stud framing, insulation, and drywall installation, as well as specialty wall and ceiling finishes, TCM demonstrated its proficiency by successfully providing and installing prefabricated wall panels, covering over 90% of the building’s exterior envelope. This not only highlights our versatility but also underscores our commitment to delivering innovative and efficient solutions for every aspect of construction.

Overview

We had the privilege of being a part of the new administrative building for the Siloam Springs School District. Designed by the talented team at BiLD Architects, this 2-story facility spans approximately 20,399 square feet. Within its walls, you will find a range of spaces, including staff offices, thoughtfully designed conference rooms, and a distinguished board room.

On this project, our committed team skillfully constructed and installed the exterior walls using prefabricated wall panels. The incorporation of these panels not only resulted in a superior-quality product but also expedited the installation process by 60%, compared to traditional on-site framing and erection. This innovative approach not only saved time but also reduced the need for extensive manpower and equipment. Expanding our scope to interior spaces, our team handled wall framing, insulation, and drywall work with precision. Notably, TCM showcased its versatility by expertly crafting a shaft wall for the elevator, showcasing our ability to meet diverse construction requirements.

The project’s accomplishments are quantified by the installation of 15,936 square feet of exterior walls on the exterior, 63,000 square feet of interior drywall, and 19,200 square feet of ACT ceiling tile. Construction Innovation

TCM Enterprises proudly stands as the first Arkansas subcontractor introduce and implement the use of prefabricated wall panels in construction projects. Our commitment to innovation is evident in our approach. Our panels are built in the controlled factory environment. This not only enhances overall quality control but also leads to a reduction in waste and manpower requirements. The advantages of utilizing prefabricated wall panels become particularly apparent in the field. They contribute significantly to project efficiency by reducing erection time, providing schedule certainty, minimizing onsite manpower and equipment needs, and mitigating weather-related delays. In the specific case of this project, Jairo Rocha and his panel shop team excelled in fabricating 94 panels, covering a total of 11,652 square feet of exterior wall. Tomas Martinez and his erection team further demonstrated efficiency by successfully erecting all panels within a remarkable 10-day timeframe.
